Construction Billing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to join our team as a Payroll & Office Coordinator. This role will be responsible for managing and processing full accounts receivable workflow, including invoicing, lien releases, and collection.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and process full accounts receivable workflow, including invoicing, lien releases, and collection.
- Review contract and proposal documents to ensure adherence to industry standards and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Prepare and review 60-day Accounts Receivable aging with management and project management staff.
- Post transactions to journals and ledgers and other records.
- Maintain Accounts Receivable records in accordance with company policy and GAAP.
- Set up new customers in Billing and Accounts Receivable modules as needed.
- Proactively identify areas for improvement and work with management to evaluate and implement upgrades.
- 3+ years of billing experience, preferably within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with AIA billing and its specific requirements.
- Proficiency in using Sage/Timberline or similar software to manage billing functions.
