About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Imaging Supervisor to join our team at Rochester Regional Health. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our CT section, ensuring the highest level of patient care and image quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assure compliance with current licensure/certification on all staff
  • Maintain accountability for patient care and image quality in the CT area
  • Attend Leadership meetings and cascade information to CT staff
  • Participate in the interview process and make recommendations for hiring of staff as needed
  • Perform Annual Performance appraisals and ensure mandatory in-services are completed within set time frame
  • Train technologists on current updated procedural changes in the CT Section of the department
  • Perform a variety of routine and advanced CT procedures while monitoring and maintaining essential patient care and safety
  • Educate patients regarding their procedure and maintain a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam
  • Maintain CT equipment and supplies in accordance with hospital process and procedure
  • Assist with CT Quality Assurance program and ACR Accreditation if applicable
  • Provide on-call coverage for CT Section of Radiology
  • Responsible for providing monthly work schedules for assigned staff
  • Responsible for reviewing and sign off for overtime submitted by staff
Requirements
  • Two year college certificate or equivalent
  • Five years' experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • One year experience in CT
  • NYS License in Radiologic Technology
  • American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT), CT credentials preferred
