Senior Manager, LAC Visa Direct Product Management

We are seeking an experienced payments leader to join our team at Visa Inc. as a Senior Manager, LAC Visa Direct Product Management. This role will be responsible for the Visa Direct portfolio management in the Latin America and Caribbean region (LAC), which includes Product Roadmap management, local Product Enhancements requests, Product Localization to the region, Product Communication to clients, Competition Intelligence, Sales materials and collaterals, equipping the sales teams with tools to sell more efficiently.
Key Responsibilities- Product Management: Identify customer needs for new product development or enhancement of existing products, localize Visa Direct products to the LAC market, manage Product Roadmap, ensure product compliance with local regulations, and equip sales teams with Sales materials and collaterals.
- Competitor Analysis: Understand the competitive landscape and how our product compares in order to support strategic decisions about product features, positioning, and pricing.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with different teams like global product development, solutioning, network, sales, marketing, finance, and operations to ensure a successful product launch.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate with internal and external stakeholders to keep them updated about Visa money movement solutions and gather their feedback.
- The ideal candidate will be proactive and excel in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Outstanding analytical and strategic thinking skills, organizational savvy, and interpersonal skills. Experience in the banking and payments industry is a must.
- Background of Product Management preferably at a global or multi-market level.
- Business acumen in the payment industry with 7 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 5 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 or more years of experience with a PhD.
- Creative self-starter with a bias toward action and proven track record for successfully developing, building, launching, and commercializing technology products that delight customers.
- Background in product, solutioning, and ecosystem enablement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on delivering for clients.
- Excellent listening and communication skills (both verbal and written), and executive presence, must be able to interface with senior client executives.
- Ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to audiences in an approachable way to influence and drive adaptation.
- English and Spanish fluency required.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Travel RequirementsThis position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical RequirementsThis position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, and frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
