Position Overview:

  • Oversee the deployment of authorized physical security system components, including access control mechanisms, intrusion detection systems, CCTV, and other essential elements of security infrastructure.
  • Develop physical security system designs for new developments, expansions, and renovation projects.
  • Create security design standards, standard drawings, and technical specifications for projects to facilitate vendor pricing. Evaluate and ensure the quality of vendor proposals. Submit comprehensive vendor quote packages to the Infrastructure Technical Project Manager for project requisition inclusion.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous security system installation projects and vendor relationships.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the testing and acceptance of physical security systems, ensuring operational readiness upon project completion.
  • Compile and archive project closeout documentation.
  • Monitor and report on vendor performance metrics related to system installation, service delivery, and equipment reliability.

Essential Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in managing physical security projects.
  • At least 2 years' experience in Security Operations within technology, manufacturing, or similar sectors, including familiarity with access control systems, CCTV, and layered security strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • 3+ years of experience in the design, installation, and integration of Access Control, Intrusion Detection, and CCTV Surveillance systems.
  • Certification or practical experience with Lenel Access Control System.
  • Strong skills in problem-solving, time management, and independent project planning.
  • Ability to interpret program objectives, develop project timelines, and ensure compliance with established schedules.
