Physical Security Technician

Presidio is seeking a skilled Physical Security Technician to join our team. As a key member of our electronic security systems integration department, you will be responsible for consulting, designing, project managing, installing, and servicing small to large integrated Security Access Control and Video Surveillance systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Installation of integrated systems based on industry-approved guidelines.
- Inspect, install, and repair electronic security systems to specifications and quality.
- Program new panels and equipment to ensure proper functionality.
- Troubleshoot systems based on industry-approved guidelines.
- Respond to trouble and occasional emergency after-hours calls.
- Follows job/manufacturer's schematic wiring diagrams, blueprints, and installation procedures.
- Reads and reviews project blueprints as required.
- Generate proper documentation throughout all phases of a project.
- Commissioning of integrated systems.
- Mounting and terminating field devices (i.e., Readers, Door Contacts, REXs, Cameras).
- Ensure high level of customer service, satisfaction, and safety rules and good driving habits.
- Job requires installing devices while on all size ladders, lifting equipment up to 50 LBS, and working in confined spaces (crawl spaces).
- Good verbal communication with supervisors and customers.
- Work safely and responsibly to avoid injury/property damage, and cleans up work area.
- Self-motivated and desire to succeed.
