Addison Group is seeking a dedicated Payroll Specialist for a temp-to-perm opportunity. The successful candidate will ensure the precise and prompt execution of payroll processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee payroll-related communications, including audit inquiries and timely reporting.
  • Administer timekeeping policies and procedures, ensuring accurate electronic and manual timesheet calculations.
  • Address payroll discrepancies and support tracking of PTO and benefits.
  • Maintain comprehensive payroll records and documentation.
  • Exhibit strong numerical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Process semi-monthly payrolls, including inputting payroll modifications and confirming data accuracy for all company entities.
  • Establish robust controls and procedures to guarantee timely payroll processing.
  • Collaborate with Payroll Service Providers to facilitate the implementation of requested changes and enhancements.
  • Assist with year-end payroll closing activities.
  • Possess knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations impacting payroll processing.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience required.

· Experience managing payroll for multiple companies with a solid understanding of payroll best practices.

· Familiarity with UKG, UltiPro, or Kronos preferred, along with strong reporting capabilities.

· Proficient in Excel, including VLookUp and Pivot Tables.

· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
