Regional Program Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Program Manager to join our team at HealthCorps. As a key member of our program management team, you will be responsible for implementing and managing a community-wide wellness program in Cleveland, empowering teens to make healthier choices for themselves and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Program Development and Implementation
- Develop and implement a comprehensive community-wide wellness program that addresses health inequities and promotes healthy behaviors among teens and their families.
- Collaborate with local universities, community partners, schools, and district staff to ensure effective delivery of health and wellness programming across 8-15 school sites.
- Team Management and Leadership
- Oversee and manage the recruitment, application, training, onboarding, and ongoing oversight of 8+ near-peer mentors to support in-school program delivery.
- Build and lead a high-performing team that is passionate about addressing health disparities and promoting healthy behaviors.
- Community Engagement and Partnerships
- Engage current and potential community stakeholders, including school, district, and university staff, as well as strategic program partners, student wellness officers, and local alumni to develop a network of individuals and organizations committed to improving the health and wellness of the community.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with community partners to ensure successful program implementation and sustainability.
- Program Evaluation and Reporting
- Assess the community's health inequities and develop strategies to address them.
- Measure program impact and report on progress to stakeholders, including program partners, funders, and HealthCorps leadership.
- Communication and Marketing
- Develop and implement a communication and marketing strategy to promote HealthCorps' program and services to the community.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials, including social media content, press releases, and other promotional materials.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience in a related field, such as public health, education, or non-profit management.
- 3+ years of relevant program management experience, or 5-7 years of relevant health and wellness, education, and/or service-based experience.
- Skills and Qualifications
- Passion for addressing health disparities and promoting healthy behaviors among teens and their families.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience building and leading high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with community partners and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
- Intermediate to expert level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to travel distances of up to 50 miles within the greater New York City region.
- Available to travel for annual staff training and company retreat 1-2 times a year and AmeriCorps-specific trainings 2+ times per year.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
