Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Waterview Hills Campus in North Salem, Westchester County. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality care to our residents and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide daily support to the unit leadership and respond promptly to resident and family needs within the LPN scope of practice.
  • Use nursing process judgment and skills to set priorities and deliver quality direct resident care.
  • Perform and administer standard nursing treatments and medications, and observe residents for desired or unwanted effects.
  • Communicate and collaborate with the care team to revise and update the Nursing Care Plan or any pertinent findings.
  • Monitor and document vital signs, treatments administered, and resident responses.
  • Prepare, organize, oversee, monitor, and evaluate the delivery of care to residents, considering their category of needs and competency of personnel.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
  • Licensed and currently registered in good standing in New York as an LPN.
  • Dedicated to providing clinically sound and compassionate care.
  • Must possess a spirit of cooperation, caring, and enthusiasm to create an atmosphere conducive to rehabilitation and optimal resident health.
  • Genuinely interested in helping ill, injured, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and sometimes challenging residents.
  • Have excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
  • Work well under pressure and willing to work harmoniously with all staff.
  • Covid-19 vaccinations are encouraged but not mandated; we continue to offer Covid-19 vaccination based on eligibility guidance from the CDC.
