We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative II to join our dynamic team at South Sound Radiology.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues. As a Patient Services Representative II, you will be responsible for performing various clerical functions, ensuring accuracy in medical imaging scheduling, and adapting to changes in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Compassionate Support: Deliver professional customer service to patients and callers, addressing their concerns and inquiries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Schedule Medical Imaging: Ensure accurate scheduling of exams and procedures, maintaining high standards of quality and attention to detail.
  • Multitask in a Fast-Paced Environment: Effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities, demonstrating patience and adaptability in a demanding call center setting.
  • Knowledge of Medical Insurance: Possess strong knowledge of prior-authorization, insurance, and registration processes, providing accurate cost estimates for imaging procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: A minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service position, required. Additionally, a minimum of 1 year medical office experience is necessary.
  • Computer Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills, multitasking, and working with several software programs simultaneously.
  • Professional Demeanor: Maintain a professional demeanor in appearance and behavior in all work-related interactions.

South Sound Radiology is an Imaging Center of Radia, one of the largest and most progressive radiology groups in the nation. Our team of over 200 board-certified radiologists provides on-site radiology coverage and interpretations for more than 50 hospital and specialty clinic partners.

The estimated salary for this role is between $22.37 and $32.34 per hour, based on factors such as direct job-related experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and employment status.
