Position Overview KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Conduct thorough analysis on various inventory-related reports.
  • Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies among inventory, Cost of Goods Sold (COGS), and accounts payable across different locations.
  • Assess the proper accounting treatment as mandated by US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Support all aspects of the financial closing process to ensure timely completion, including:
  • Preparation of month-end journal entries.
  • Reconciliation of Balance Sheet accounts.
  • Creation of inventory reports that detail inventory counts, Purchase Price Variance (PPV) changes, and manufacturing outcomes.
  • Actively engage in audits, cost reporting, and tax submissions to meet established deadlines.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must possess experience in Bill of Material Cost Rolling.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with a minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Inventory Accounting, particularly within an ERP system and manufacturing context.
