Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose technical problems and repair products at our shop floor
  • Travel to customer locations to diagnose and repair complex technical problems
  • Install products at customer sites
  • Examine tools mechanically and electrically to perform repairs
  • Diagnose technical problems and troubleshoot via telephone
  • Communicate effectively with customers
  • Document product problems and resolutions
Requirements:
  • Associate's or technical degree preferred
  • Background in field service within the automotive industry preferred
  • Experience with electrical measurement and calibration techniques
  • Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical problems
  • General understanding of PLCs and pneumatics
  • Ability to use basic hand-tools
  • Ability to operate a computer with Windows operating systems
  • Valid Driver's License
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with fastening and assembly processes
  • Working knowledge of mechanical measurement and inspection techniques
  • Ability to work with heights
