Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist/Licensed Psychological Associate to join our team at the Autism Behavioral Institute. As a Diagnostic Evaluation and Treatment Specialist, you will conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and provide treatment recommendations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments, analyze data, and write detailed evaluation reports to inform treatment plans.
  • Treatment Recommendations: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children with ASD, incorporating evidence-based practices and strategies.
  • Client Feedback: Provide post-evaluation feedback to clients and their families, ensuring they understand the diagnostic process and treatment recommendations.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: Work closely with clinical and intake/admission personnel to ensure timely and effective client access to care.
  • Treatment Planning and Outcomes: Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and oversee client treatment planning and outcomes.
  • Training and Supervision: Provide training, supervision, and support to BCBAs or other direct therapy staff, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Administrative and Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in various administrative and quality improvement initiatives as needed, ensuring adherence to agency standards for quality, timeliness, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology and current NC licensure.
  • Experience and Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment of neuro-developmental disorders, including ASD. Prior experience in completing evaluations for children with ASD, IDD, and other neuro-developmental disorders.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and clinical writing skills, solid organizational and time management skills, and training in evidence-based tools such as ADOS-2, ADI-R, DISCO, CARS, or other known evidence-based tools.
