Position Overview:

We are in search of a skilled Project Manager to oversee our construction projects. As a reputable General Contractor, we engage in a variety of construction endeavors, including ground-up, multifamily, commercial, retail, and educational projects. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in managing intricate construction initiatives, particularly in Big Box Retail Construction. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a driven professional to take a pivotal position in our dynamic and expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage all stages of construction projects from initial planning through to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to meet project goals.
3. Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and laborers, ensuring optimal resource utilization.
4. Prepare and present project proposals, reports, and essential documentation.
5. Conduct risk assessments, identify potential challenges, and implement effective solutions.
6. Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and building regulations.
7. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers.
8. Perform regular site inspections and coordinate necessary adjustments.
9. Address any issues or complaints arising during the construction process.

Qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector, focusing on ground-up commercial and retail projects, including Big Box Retail, Health Clubs, Restaurants, etc.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal requirements.
4. Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
7. Proficiency in project management software.
8. Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
9. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various construction sites.
10. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
