Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Services Coordinator to join our team at Interim HealthCare of Lexington MA. This role is responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient intake and client services, gathering vital information to optimize sales, customer satisfaction, and quality care.
  • Serve as the primary contact person for referral sources, agencies, healthcare professionals, and field staff.
  • Manage incoming calls, providing patients and referral sources with essential information to access suitable services.
  • Communicate with patients and families regarding arrangements for care initiation.
  • Complete thorough intake screenings, documenting and analyzing required information for preliminary admission decisions.
  • Process referrals, prepare reports, and respond to inquiries while maintaining accurate system data entry.
  • Promote our care services to prospective patients and clients.
  • Support field staff in scheduling and appointments, fostering effective communication.
  • Receive verbal orders from physicians, adhering to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and files within regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to uphold nursing standards and relevant laws.
  • Develop community outreach plans to enhance visibility and generate new customers.

Requirements:

  • An Associate Degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid LPN/LVN license active in the state where practicing, with RNs and Medical Assistants also encouraged to apply.
  • Three years of experience in medical services or clinical environments, with prior intake experience preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships and coordinating community resources.
  • A sound clinical knowledge base and excellent customer service skills.
  • The ability to prioritize tasks effectively, manage time wisely, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using current company software and adapting to changing priorities under pressure.

Working Conditions:

  • This role typically operates in a standard office environment.
  • Flexible schedule and occasional evening work may be required.
  • The ability to sit for extended periods with occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and location.
