Job Summary

GE Vernova is seeking a highly skilled Lead Engineer to join our team in the Gas Turbine Accessories sector. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create detailed designs and specifications for gas turbine accessories, including 2D cross sections, 3D models, and electronic data formats.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of technical disciplines and execute policy/strategy to drive product development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate product development with other areas of the business.
  • Identify and mitigate execution risks, providing clear communication and proposed solutions to stakeholders.
  • Foster a culture of ownership and accountability within the team.
  • Provide informal guidance to new team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Horizontal partnering relationship building skills.
  • Expertise with NX CAD & PGPLM tools.
  • Demonstrated experience with model-based enterprise & application of PMI to 3D models.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.
  • Established project management skills.
