We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that fosters the growth and development of infants in our care.
Key Responsibilities- Observe and understand the physical, intellectual, and emotional needs of each infant, and develop personalized plans to meet their unique needs.
- Prepare a beautiful and orderly environment that promotes trust, exploration, and deep learning, and cultivates independence and self-confidence in infants.
- Form strong personal connections with each infant and their families, and communicate effectively to provide the best possible care.
- Cultivate a community of respect and inclusivity, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high-quality learning experience for all infants.
- Interest in pursuing certified Montessori training through our Prepared Montessorian Institute (fully-sponsored) or have previously obtained a Montessori diploma.
- Experience working with children ages 0-3 in a group setting, such as daycare, aftercare, or nursery.
- Familiarity with child-led philosophies such as Reggio Emilia or Montessori, and/or a willingness to learn more.
