Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN - Short Pump Emergency Center

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN is a key member of the imaging team at Bon Secours Mercy Health, responsible for applying the practice of nuclear medicine imaging through the safe and effective use of radiopharmaceuticals and nuclear medicine equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procure, prepare, quality control, calculate, identify, document, administer, dispose, store, and safely handle radioactive materials.
  • Schedule exams and review images to determine diagnostic quality.
  • Start and maintain intravenous (IV) access and administer medications as prescribed by a licensed independent practitioner.
Requirements:
  • Certification and Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • State Licensure (preferred, unless required by the state where the job is being performed).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1 year of experience practicing Nuclear Medicine.
