This position works closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that nutrition care is delivered in a comprehensive and coordinated manner.
Key Responsibilities- Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with nutrition-related disorders.
- Develop and implement nutrition interventions, including medical nutrition therapy and education, to promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure that nutrition care is aligned with patient-focused medical goals and objectives.
- Conduct nutrition assessments, determine nutrition diagnoses, and develop individualized nutrition plans for patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to nutrition plans as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and evidence-based practices in nutrition care, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of two years of experience in a clinical dietetics setting, preferably in pediatrics.
- RD/RDN (Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist) credential issued by the Academy of Nutrition & Dietetics' Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
The Clinical Dietitian II will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
