Job Overview

Penn State Health is seeking a dedicated and skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse to join their team in Enola, Pennsylvania.

About the Role

This ICU nurse position offers a unique opportunity to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. As an ICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.

You will administer nursing care to critically ill patients, advise on health maintenance and disease prevention, and monitor patients' conditions. Additionally, you will maintain detailed reports and records, administer medications while monitoring for reactions and side effects.

Requirements
  • A valid RN license in the state of employment or a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact is required.
  • BLS certification must be obtained prior to orientation completion.
  • AHA ACLS certification is required prior to the end of the orientation period.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year
