We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Penn State Health. As a member of our nursing team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

  • This is a full-time position working 36 hours per week on a night shift schedule.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records.
  • They will also administer medications to patients while monitoring for reactions and side effects, as well as monitor, record, and report any changes in patients' conditions.

Requirements

  • CURRENTLY LICENSED TO PRACTICE AS A REGISTERED NURSE BY STATE OF EMPLOYMENT OR HOLDS A MULTISTATE RN LICENSE THROUGH THE INTERSTATE NURSE LICENSURE COMPACT REQUIRED.
  • BLS REQUIRED PRIOR TO ORIENTATION COMPLETION.
  • OBTAIN AHA ACLS CERTIFICATION PRIOR TO END OF ORIENTATION PERIOD.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.

The estimated salary for this position is $$95,000 - $110,000 per year, based on national averages for similar positions in the Enola, Pennsylvania area. This figure takes into account factors such as cost of living, education requirements, and industry standards.
