About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Controls Engineer/Project Manager to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our engineering firm, you will be responsible for designing, integrating, and optimizing building automation systems for commercial clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop custom energy reporting, power metering, trending, and billing programs to optimize energy efficiency.
  • Produce detailed drawings, sequences of operation, and bills of material for building automation systems.
  • Design, integrate, and support network migration for Internet / Ethernet / BACnet / Modbus platforms.
  • Maintain accurate As-Built drawing packages and make changes as required.
  • Visit the field to adjust design sequences and complete functional checkout and commissioning activities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
  • Strong interest in building automation and controls required.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in the HVAC/controls industry.
  • DDC controller programming, third-party device integration with BACnet and Modbus preferred.
  • Experience with mechanical system operation.
  • Basic understanding of the construction process preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiating, and organizational skills.
  • Competency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Automated Logic WebCTRL experience a plus.
