Job Summary:

The Eugene School District 4J is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated School Counselor to join our team. As a School Counselor, you will play a vital role in supporting students' academic and social growth, helping them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students, addressing social, emotional, and academic concerns.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with exceptional needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to ensure students receive comprehensive support.
  • Organize and lead workshops, presentations, and other programs to promote student success.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in school counseling and adapt to the evolving needs of our students.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in school counseling or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations.
