Position Summary: We are in search of a Logistics and Inventory Management Specialist who will play a crucial role in ensuring our clients receive outstanding service while effectively managing our inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify the completeness of incoming shipments.
- Accurately log parts into our inventory management system under the appropriate technician and ticket.
- Ensure proper placement of parts in designated technician locations.
- Identify and report discrepancies in shipments, including overages and shortages.
- Utilize system applications to facilitate remote technicians in receiving necessary stock and parts for service repairs.
- Maintain and reorder inventory on a daily basis to ensure availability.
- Assist in inventory management of parts on technicians' service vehicles.
- Inspect received parts for quality and accuracy.
- Process returns for unused, defective, or damaged parts efficiently.
- Assist customers in selecting and purchasing parts, providing pricing and processing payments.
- Build strong relationships with parts vendors.
- Respond promptly to telephone inquiries.
- Handle customer complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments using dispatching software.
- Support technicians and office staff to enhance customer service.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Accurately record hours worked in the company timekeeping system.
- Exemplify the company's core values and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Be flexible in assisting other departments as needed.
