About the Role

Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a skilled Hospital Linen Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our linen services department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient preparation and distribution of linen throughout our medical center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fold and stock linen in exchange and PAR linen carts to meet the needs of our patients and staff.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of linen meets our high standards.
  • Verify that all linen trucks and carts meet established standards for cleanliness and organization.
  • Respond to phone calls and provide assistance to callers as needed.
  • Prepare linen for delivery as requested by our team members and dispatch a laundry worker to ensure timely delivery.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment by sweeping and dusting as needed.
  • Adhere to the standards identified in our Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production environment, preferably in a laundry service setting.
  • Prior experience with high-volume automated machinery is a plus.
