About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Transportation Security Officer to join our team at VMD Corp. As a key member of our aviation security team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of passengers and crew members by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Passenger and Baggage Screening: Conduct thorough searches of passengers and their belongings to ensure compliance with security regulations.
  • Operating Screening Equipment: Effectively operate various screening equipment to detect and prevent prohibited items from entering the airport.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements:

  • U.S. Citizenship or Nationality: Must be a U.S. citizen or national.
  • Age: Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Assessment and Evaluation: Pass a computerized assessment and medical evaluation to ensure fitness for duty.
  • Background Check: Pass a TSA background and financial records check.
  • Availability: Must be available to work any day, Monday through Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM.
