Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and perform veterinary procedures, including spay/neuter surgeries, and provide medical support to our staff and volunteers.
- Assist with the administration of medications, monitor animal health, and maintain accurate medical records.
- Supervise and train veterinary staff, including new employees and volunteers, to ensure high-quality care and service.
- Collaborate with our operations coordinator to manage inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our citizens, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of experience in animal care, medical, leadership, or a related field.
- Valid Texas driver's license and euthanasia certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
