Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform veterinary procedures, including spay/neuter surgeries, and provide medical support to our staff and volunteers.
  • Assist with the administration of medications, monitor animal health, and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Supervise and train veterinary staff, including new employees and volunteers, to ensure high-quality care and service.
  • Collaborate with our operations coordinator to manage inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to our citizens, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of three years of experience in animal care, medical, leadership, or a related field.
  • Valid Texas driver's license and euthanasia certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively under stressful conditions.
