The **Financial Analyst** will play a crucial role in assisting the Controller and Finance Managers by delivering comprehensive accounting support to our manufacturing facilities. The primary responsibilities include executing monthly closing processes, preparing account reconciliations, aiding in budget and forecast development, calculating costs for new products, and contributing to capital project oversight and asset management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

+ **Budget and Forecast Support**: Assist in the formulation and enhancement of budgets and financial forecasts.

+ **Performance Analysis**: Evaluate financial outcomes to gauge current performance and anticipate future results.

+ **Month-End Reporting**: Aid in the preparation of detailed analyses of month-end financial outcomes for Senior Management review.

+ **Journal Entry Preparation**: Accurately prepare and record journal entries.

+ **Account Reconciliations**: Conduct reconciliations for essential accounts, including inventory and unvouchered accounts.

+ **General Ledger Examination**: Review general ledger accounts for precision and validity, addressing any discrepancies.

+ **Capital Project Monitoring**: Collaborate with project managers to track and report on project expenditures.

+ **Cost Calculation**: Determine costs for new items and assist in establishing annual standard costs.

+ **Inventory Oversight**: Support the planning and execution of the annual physical inventory for our manufacturing locations.

+ **Special Projects**: Provide assistance on various special projects as directed by management.

**Required Education:**

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.

**Required Experience:**

+ A minimum of two years of relevant work experience or internships in a related domain.

**Preferred Experience:**

+ Previous experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting.

**Required Skills/Qualifications:**

+ Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex business issues into clear cause-and-effect relationships.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, both formal and informal.

+ Proven accountability for delivering precise information while maintaining the highest ethical standards.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

**Preferred Skills:**

+ Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, ERPLx, or similar platforms.
