Job Title: Financial Operations Manager

ICONS | America LLC is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial and accounting activities to ensure sustainable and profitable business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies, budgets, and forecasting models.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including payroll processing, managing the general ledger and accounting rules, and generating financial information.
  • Analyze financial data, prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, and present reports to key stakeholders.
  • Conduct detailed financial and operational analysis, measuring financial and non-financial indicators, and collaborating with different functions to evaluate plant performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Oversee actual manufacturing costs, prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs, and manage cost accounting, stock control, and purchase order processes.
  • Manage the annual audit process, work with external auditors to ensure compliance and accuracy, and monitor cash flow, optimizing working capital, managing and supervising all AR/AP cycles, collections, and payment terms with external partners and customers.
  • Evaluate capital projects, make recommendations on investment decisions, ensure compliance with tax laws, and make strategic tax planning decisions.
  • Assess and manage financial risks, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and develop and enforce internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Drive the change in ERP/Finance IT systems to continually improve standards and benchmarks in budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast.
  • Ensure accounting processes and procedures are operating as designed, make improvements as necessary, and provide guidance and supervision to finance teams, including setting objectives, conducting performance reviews, and fostering professional development.
  • Interact with internal and external stakeholders, address financial concerns, and provide financial insights.

Requirements:

  • BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a Finance/Accounting management role, with experience in the manufacturing/packaging industry preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software.
  • Demonstrated leadership with teams of 2+ members.
  • Experience with cost analysis, inventory management, and pricing.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, ERP systems, financial benchmarking, accounting, audit, payroll, and tax compliance, and other regulatory matters.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to operate as an effective tactical as well as strategic thinker.
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
