Postdoctoral Researcher in Nanoscale Heat Transfer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Mechanical Engineering Heat Transfer Lab at the University of California, Merced. The successful candidate will work on experimental measurements and numerical simulations of nondiffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct experiments and simulations to characterize non-diffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces.
Write papers describing the results of the evaluations and investigations.
Assist with the oversight of graduate and undergraduate assistants working on these projects.
Requirements
PhD in thermal science and engineering, or related field, and experience in the thermometry and modeling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly motivated individual who has demonstrated the ability to work independently.
