Postdoctoral Scholar: Nanoscale Heat Transfer in Mechanical Engineering

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified postdoctoral researcher to join our team in the Mechanical Engineering Heat Transfer Lab. The successful candidate will work on experimental measurements and numerical simulations of nondiffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct experiments and simulations to characterize non-diffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces
  • Write papers describing the results of the evaluations and investigations
  • Assist with the oversight of graduate and undergraduate assistants working on these projects
Requirements:
  • PhD in thermal science and engineering, or related field
  • Experience in thermometry and modeling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
