Job Summary:

The Conway Regional Health System is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Care Coordinator and Scheduling Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Outpatient Services department, this individual will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring seamless scheduling operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reception and scheduling of patients
  • Registration, precertification, and insurance verification
  • Charge entry and daily reconciliations
  • Ensuring accurate and timely documentation in the hospital system and electronic medical record
  • Providing patient care activities, including personal hygiene, nutrition, elimination, skin care, and equipment use
  • Assisting with delegated support functions and patient care duties within the scope of practice for unlicensed assistive personnel
  • Demonstrating a commitment to teamwork through effective collaboration efforts

Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or equivalent
  • Clinical experience or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred
  • Basic keyboarding skills and intermediate skills in Microsoft Office preferred
  • Knowledge of ICD-10 or CPT Coding and experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) system preferred

Working Conditions:

This is a safety-sensitive position under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. The employee must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive patient information.
