Civil Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will be responsible for performing various activities related to civil and environmental engineering services.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.
- Manage projects and personnel to meet client and company expectations.
- Make decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plans, and coordinates work, and represents at meetings and conferences.
- Field work in varied terrain and weather will be required, including surveys/data gathering, construction quality assurance, inspections, etc.
- Office-based tasks including CAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, site planning, and facility design, permit applications, etc.
- Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
- Travel (day trips or overnight, 10% of travel expected).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering or related engineering major required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
- E.I.T. required, P.E. preferred.
- Competent with using MS Office and other computer software normally used in environmental consulting. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D design software preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.
