About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team at Metromont, a leading provider of precast concrete solutions. As a Design Engineer, you will play a critical role in the design and development of our precast concrete products, working closely with our engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop precast concrete products, including parking decks, buildings, and wall systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and engineering standards are met
  • Review and analyze contract documents to ensure project requirements are met
  • Attend project meetings and lead coordination efforts as needed
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed engineering designs and calculations
  • Ensure compliance with Metromont's safety policies and procedures
Requirements
  • BS in Civil Engineering or related field; structural emphasis preferred
  • PE or EIT certification a plus
  • Strong understanding of precast concrete design and engineering principles
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
