Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem PET/CT Imaging Specialist to join our team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, and diagnostic CT procedures with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PET/CT, Nuclear Medicine, and diagnostic CT procedures on patients as directed by a Nuclear Medicine physician or radiologist.
  • Operate imaging equipment, including PET/CT scanners and diagnostic CT machines.
  • Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of imaging procedures and results.

Requirements:

  • Diploma from a Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) and Radiological program ARRT(R) approved by JCERT.
  • AART(N) or CNMT Certification.
  • CT Certification required.
  • NJS License required.
  • Dual License (RT) in PET and CT.
  • Graduate of approved radiography program (XR- License) Preferred.
  • GE PET/CT Experience a plus.

Working Conditions:

  • Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift and move patients as needed.
