Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Acute Care team at UMass Memorial Health. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical and psychosocial status, administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patients' progress, reporting any changes or concerns to healthcare providers.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health and wellness.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program with current licensure in Massachusetts.
  • Previous experience in acute care or medical-surgical settings preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
  • Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered, inspected, and insured automobile for work-related purposes.
