About the Role

Santa Rosa Junior College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective HR strategies that support the college's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the college's mission and goals.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters.
  • Recruit, train, and develop HR staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Manage the college's benefits and compensation programs to ensure they are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Develop and implement diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to promote a culture of inclusivity and respect.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure HR strategies are aligned with college goals and objectives.
  • Develop and manage the HR budget to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Provide HR support to the college's leadership team, including the President and Vice Presidents.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in HR, with at least 2 years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HR strategies that support business goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
