As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for coordinating and administering Site Safety Programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and company safety and occupational health standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Lead or participate in incident investigations and emergency response.
- Conduct site inspections and track corrective actions to closure.
- Perform job safety analysis and maintain jobsite specific documentation.
- Carry out additional assignments as deemed appropriate by the Health & Safety Manager.
- Coach and teach safety across the region.
- Conduct safety training and provide overall safety and health leadership.
- Strong computer knowledge and skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Strong tracking and follow-up skills and self-motivation.
- Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate knowledge of risk, liability, and safety management.
A college degree in Occupational Safety and Health or other related fields of study is required. Previous experience in safety, health, environmental, or emergency response is also required. Professional certification as an Occupational Health Safety Technologist (OHST), Construction Safety Health Technologist (CHST), or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is preferred.
