Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and meticulous Payroll Manager to oversee the complete payroll operations within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and punctually for all employees. Your keen attention to detail will be vital in managing direct deposits, deductions, garnishments, earnings, and tax modifications appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute biweekly payroll processes with precision.
  • Provide comprehensive post-payroll reporting as required.
  • Maintain electronic records of employee personnel and payroll documentation.
  • Deliver exceptional support to team members while addressing any payroll-related discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will possess a two-year degree in business or accounting, or equivalent experience. A minimum of three years of experience in payroll administration and processing, or one to three years in finance and accounting support, is essential. The Payroll Manager must demonstrate strong organizational skills, efficiency, and the ability to meet deadlines while prioritizing tasks effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to quickly learn new payroll applications and systems.
  • Experience with time and attendance systems, ADP Payroll, and HRIS is highly desirable.
  • Solid understanding of payroll and accounting principles, as well as state and federal employment regulations.
  • Vendor management experience and familiarity with RFPs and implementation processes are advantageous.
