About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Risk Advisor to join our team at Sterling Seacrest Pritchard, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for soliciting new clients and servicing existing ones in a manner consistent with our firm's goals, culture, and approach to sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop business relationships with clients through a consulting and partnering approach, offering innovative solutions and resolving difficult risk issues.
  • Gather data for the service team to prepare quotes, analyze market summaries, negotiate with underwriters as necessary, and present proposals to clients.
  • Develop a network of prospects through various methods, including cold calling, referrals, industry and special interest groups, and centers of influence.
  • Stay up-to-date with carriers, strategic partners, products/services, and applicable legislation.
  • Conduct risk management audits in conjunction with a client team, ensuring timely completion and delivery of results.
  • Transition new accounts to the client team seamlessly and inform agency personnel of major developments and renewal results as required.
  • Attend team and producer meetings, submit expense reports as necessary, and perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • Prior insurance sales experience in an agency setting.
  • Current Property & Casualty or Life and Health license.
  • Demonstrated sales success with a track record of gaining commitment from prospects.
  • Strong presentation skills, high energy, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.
  • Data gathering skills and an analytical thought process with a high level of problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills paired with above-average knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access.
