Job Summary

The Lead CT Technologist will serve as the primary workflow coordinator, technical advisor to other technologists and radiologists, and responsible for department specific needs related to protocols, procedures, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform direct patient care in the department, performing scans and procedures as ordered by clinicians.
  • Report daily to Manager regarding volume/productivity, equipment, safety or patient issues.
  • Technical advisor to department staff and Radiologists, other physicians, related to technical aspects of patient procedures and exams such as optimal protocols, quality of imaging, radiation safety, equipment trouble-shooting, and optimizing workflow.
  • Advise, implement and communicate new procedure and protocol development. Oversee and assist with department PACS QA issues and other image quality issues.
Requirements
  • BLS & ARRT (CT) required.
  • Certificate from an accredited Radiology school or program in CT or Radiology.
  • 5+ years of CT experience preferred.
