We are seeking a highly qualified Faculty Physician to join our team at Wake Forest University School of Medicine and Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist.

About the Role

This position will play a key role in faculty research, education, scholarship, and clinical care within our Department of Emergency Medicine.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in faculty research and education initiatives
  • Contribute to scholarly publications and academic projects
  • Provide clinical care to patients in the Emergency Department
  • Develop and implement academic programs and projects
  • Mentor and educate junior faculty and residents
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Emergency Medicine and/or Pediatric Emergency Medicine
  • Scholarly publications and disseminated academic work in an area of focus within academic emergency medicine
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in leadership, clinical operations, faculty mentoring, academic project development, and/or additional academic expertise
  • A North Carolina Medical License or eligibility
  • ABEM or ABOEM certification or eligibility
