Academic Palliative Medicine Faculty Physician

Physicians play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of medical conditions, and advising patients on preventative healthcare measures. As a Palliative Care Physician, you will work closely with the primary healthcare team to deliver exceptional medical care to patients, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with the primary healthcare team to provide comprehensive medical care to patients, adhering to the highest standards of care.
- Order laboratory and radiology tests as necessary, and refer patients to specialists when required.
- Analyze medical records, test results, and patient examinations to diagnose conditions and develop effective treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications, treatments, and health regimens to treat patient health issues, taking into account their medical history and current condition.
- Provide patients with guidance on lifestyle and diet changes that can improve their health or help manage their medical conditions.
- Ensure accurate and timely recording of patient medical records, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to federal and state health information privacy laws.
