Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Hilton Grand Vacations. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Executive Housekeeper in maintaining the upkeep and cleanliness of the entire resort.
  • Allocate work duties to Team Members and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Perform routine inspections and spot checks of rooms and lodges to ensure compliance with brand standards.
  • Report and follow up on any maintenance defects or other issues to ensure prompt resolution.
  • Inspect and maintain service areas, store rooms, and corridors to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Attend Management and Health and Safety meetings to stay informed and contribute to decision-making.
  • Recruit, manage, train, and develop the housekeeping team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
  • Manage rotas and annual leave to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize disruptions.
  • Schedule and supervise deep cleaning and other projects to maintain the resort's high standards.
  • Provide excellent guest service, including VIP and special requirements, to ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping assistant manager role or similar position.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service.
  • Proficiency with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record.
