Position Title: Financial Operations Specialist

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive accounting and operational support. Your tasks will include:

  • Expense tracking and management
  • Administration of accounting systems
  • Processing invoices and managing vendor registrations
  • Overseeing vendor relationships and month-end processing
  • Conducting reconciliations and executing contracts
  • Managing budgets and providing financial operations support for capital and expense tracking

Financial Analysis: You will perform financial analysis to review business operations and spending data, ensuring a robust understanding of income statement analysis.

Reporting: The role requires the creation and maintenance of essential financial templates and reports to support ad-hoc assignments.

Collaboration: You will engage in business operations and project financial reviews, including financial statement and comparative analysis, while collaborating across various teams such as Finance, Operations, Purchasing, Accounting, Legal, Tax, Engineering, and HR.

Process Improvement: Participation in the development of programs and systems aimed at enhancing operational efficiency will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.

Internal Support: You will provide internal process support for submissions related to invoice payments, budget requests, purchase requests, purchase orders, and other financial functions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience or five years of professional experience
  • Familiarity with financial operations and facilities management, with direct experience in a facilities department preferred
