Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a TB Clinic Nurse (RN) in the TB program. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing case management services for TB cases and suspects, including physical assessments, patient education, and directly observed therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physical assessments and provide patient education on TB treatment and prevention
  • Administer directly observed therapy and coordinate patient referrals
  • Control the spread of TB through contact elicitation and notification, as well as active surveillance activities
  • Provide administrative support, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and triaging emergencies
  • Interact with patients to obtain vital signs and medical history, and perform lab work and sputum collections
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
  • Valid Texas Operator's Driver's License
  • Registered Nurse License
  • Bilingual a plus
