Job Summary:

At LanceSoft, we are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Nurse to join our team. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN), you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to our community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide holistic, evidence-based care to patients, including accurate assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and management of health problems.
  • Administer immunizations and injections, provide patient/parent vaccine counseling and education, and perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services.
  • Assess patients during intake, take vital signs, and perform diagnostic tests such as EKG and Retinopathy screening.
  • Perform Point of Care testing, including COVID testing, and assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
  • Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year related work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience documenting within an Electronic Medical Record.
  • Ability to take vital signs, perform phlebotomy blood draws, and perform Point of Care Testing.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including performing CPR and operating an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Phlebotomy Certificate or phlebotomy experience preferred. If not experienced, must successfully complete internal phlebotomy training.
  • Previous experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care, or Emergency Room.

Licensure/Certifications:
  • The LPN/LVN must have a full, active, and unrestricted license as a Licensed Practical or Vocational Nurse in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or District of Columbia.

Education:
  • Graduate of a school of Practical or Vocational Nursing, approved by the State Agency and/or accredited by the National League for Nursing (Accrediting Commission (NLNAC)) at the time the program was completed by the applicant.
