Seidman Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Applications Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and support of clinical applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead needs assessment, software design, implementation, support, and reporting.
  • Facilitate design of clinical workflow in conjunction with clinicians and provide guidance to Clinical Analysts.
  • Lead unit and integrated testing of software to ensure design objectives are met.
  • Troubleshoot application issues and system hardware as needed.
  • Partner with end users to understand workflow and business processes.
  • Maintain system security for assigned applications.
  • Manage Disaster Recovery and Back Up requirements for assigned systems.
  • Act as team project lead in partnership with the Project Management Office.
  • Mentor System Analysts.
  • Develop policies and procedures in collaboration with clinicians and IT team members.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years experience in Healthcare IT environment supporting clinical applications.
  • High degree of understanding of clinical departments' business processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of MS Office, MS Visio, and MS Project.
  • Knowledge of ITIL standards and HL7 Interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience highly desired.
  • Prior Radiation Oncology Application Support strongly preferred.
Work Environment:

Seidman Cancer Center is a part of the National Cancer Institute (NCI)-designated Case Comprehensive Cancer Center at Case Western Reserve University.
