Job Title: Senior Analyst - Corporate Development Finance

Cleveland Clinic is a world-renowned healthcare organization that values excellence, innovation, and teamwork. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst - Corporate Development Finance to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Analyst - Corporate Development Finance will play a critical role in supporting the Corporate Development team in driving strategic growth initiatives. This includes leading complex financial projects, assessing financial impacts of strategic capital requests, and providing analytical support for business planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead analyst for complex financial projects in Corporate Development and Capital Planning to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and objectives of the department and organization.
  • Support strategy, organizational planning, and operational leadership to effectively manage significant growth initiatives involving mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and alliances.
  • Assess financial impacts of strategic capital requests, including business plan reviews and initiative prioritization.
  • Develop and continuously update a portfolio of organizational performance improvement initiatives as advised by department leadership.
  • Provide supervision and leadership for Analyst corporate development staff.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or a related field required; Master's degree in Business, healthcare, or a related area recommended.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/Certified Managed Accountant (CMA) certification/Master's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of functionally related experience.
Competencies:
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously along with meeting firm deadlines.
  • Must have solid understanding of financial complexities for strategic partnering transactions, including due diligence, financial modeling (income statement, balance sheet, and cash flows), scenario development, valuation, NPV/IRR, and risk assessment.
  • Requires demonstrated understanding of finance key performance indicators, cash flow analysis, product line analysis, and proposal development.
  • Requires ability to provide complex analytical, consultative, and information support through analysis and report preparation.
  • Must have solid understanding and experience with internal data systems to efficiently utilize in preparing various financial analyses.
  • Must have strong ability to communicate to department leadership.
  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
  • Must possess strong analytical and solution-oriented, problem-solving skills. Must be able to operate effectively in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.
  • Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Ability to work with physical records or operate a computer or other office equipment.
  • In some locations, ability to travel throughout the hospital system.
  • In some locations, ability to move up to 25 lbs.
