Key Responsibilities- Oversee a department of nurses, ensuring everyone has the necessary resources to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Engage with the nursing staff, patients, and families to stay informed about departmental operations and identify areas for improvement.
- Attend leadership meetings to stay up-to-date on new initiatives, budgetary status, and areas for growth.
- Monitor attendance and productivity among nursing staff, addressing any patterns of missed shifts or inefficiencies.
- Mentor and develop assistant nurse managers, charge nurses, and other team members to build their skills and confidence.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License in good standing (State of Arkansas or compact state)
- At least 5 years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Cardiac ICU experience strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of clinical leadership experience preferred
