Campus Overview

Kettering Health Greene Memorial, formerly Greene Memorial Hospital, is situated in Xenia, where they have been serving patients from surrounding areas for over 65 years. This 49-bed facility has received recognition for its excellence, including an 'A' rating from the Leapfrog Group and accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians as a Level 3 Geriatric trauma emergency department. We take pride in delivering exceptional patient experiences, as evidenced by awards from Healthgrades for Patient Safety Excellence (2017-2019) and Outstanding Patient Experience (2019).

Responsibilities & Requirements

The Nursing Assistant serves as a vital member of our interdisciplinary patient care team. Key responsibilities include supporting patients with activities of daily living and performing delegated tasks within the scope of practice as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The Nurse Assistant must maintain and demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability of the delegated tasks and support department operational needs. This role reports directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager. To be eligible, applicants must have successfully completed KH Nursing Assistant orientation, hold certification in CPR/BLS, and meet one of the following requirements: six months of experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or long-term care facility, completion of a nursing assistant course within the last six months, current enrollment as a nursing student, or being listed as pre-nursing on their transcripts. Preferred qualifications include basic math skills, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and customer service experience.
